“Jingle Balls, Jingle Balls”

Okay … I couldn’t resist these snowballs … just couldn’t resist.  I can’t look at them without smiling.  I’ve had this card in my mind for a few days … but just had to tweak & tweak until it’s what I was really after.  Glitz?  Ohhh, there’s more glitz than my photos reveal.  Cloudy day … 25 shots … this is the best for now.

The layout is actually a template from Scor-Pal although this card can easily be created without the Scor-Pal.  You’ll be surpised at how easy & fun this layout is.  I believe the first time I saw this style was a card created by my friend Val Stangle.  It’s a unique layered fold with lots of varable combinations in the sizes.  Due to the length of the stamp .. I needed as much space on top as possible, but for shorter images, that’s easy to change.

jingle balls cluster 350Although my generosity with glitz just didn’t show up in the photos .. I took a close up of the punched snowflake cluster at the top left.  The card closure is shorly below that cluster on the back of the image page, using a Basic Grey magnet.  I love those things for quick, secure … easily hidden closures!  I order mine from eclectic Paperie, as well as my Copic markers.  The machine stitches were smudged with 2-way glue and sprinkled with dazzling diamonds gltter …. it’s a lovely effect IRL.

jingle balls open 450Inside, the sentiment says “Some of my Best friends are flakes!”, and is appropriately surrounded with glittery snowflakes with one puched trough to the background & glittered.  All stamps are by Whipper Snapper.  Give these fun cards a try!  Post a link to yours, and I’d love take a look!  Jingle-Balls to you all!
