Personalized Gifts – Note Cards in B&W

Well, I’m resorting to reaching back into previous project photos.  But you haven’t seen them yet, so it’s okay.   As you know, my camera seemed to have a ‘hiccup’.  Plus, we have some little guests at the Mimi & PopPop household this week.  So between the camera issues and the “little” ones, the Tex household is hoppin’ to the beat of a brand new drum these days!  Why?    Well, DD and her sweet hubby are vacationing together for their first time since having “two”.  Admittedly … I am a bit envious.   Rainforests!  Zip-lines!  Scuba diving!  Oh My Gosh!  I can hardly wait to see the pics!  In the meantime, my stamps are wondering what in the world has happened, and my inks are taking a break.  If you have vistied here in my stampin’ zone recently, you understand that it is not exactly a place for little ones.  Free Smiley Courtesy of www.millan.net  So here’s a project that I was saving for later!   Yes, I’m still really here, just on an atypical schedule & lifestyle temporarily.   *wink*   Hey!  I’m getting sweet little kisses every day!  Yay!

SC BW sngle1 283×375For once, I have actually started a couple of gifts ‘early’!  That is not a typical thing for me at all.  Ask anyone who really knows me.  heh heh heh    But thanks to the differences of this week, I’ll show you an as yet ‘incomplete’ gift set.  For some reason, I really do like the distinct contrast of Black, White, & Red.  I rarely, if ever, ‘wear’ this combo, but I like it when I see it.   The printed papers used here were actually the first inspiration.  I built the idea around the papers, and came up with a couple of ideas for a monogrammed gift set of cards.   I know that the person on the receiving end adores personalized items, so the finished set will be a smile-maker for her.

SC sngle 2 CRT305×375Every now & then, I like to get back to the “basics”.  And I feel a bit of that coming on this year.  I hope that you can find some personal touch to add to a gift or two this coming season of giving.  Thank you for taking precious minutes of your day to stop by.  Have a blessed weekend!

I am sure these will be a hit!

  10. These are really adorable. I will have to get a Just Rite stamper, I am guessing that is what you used.

Noah had a birthday party today, so I had a bunch of 12 year old boys in my house. Talk about noise! Noah came into our bedroom at 6:30 this morning and asked us what he should do for the next four hours till his party started. Uh…sleep?

One parent asked why the party was in the morning, it is because the boys cannot stand the excitement of waiting for their party and we need to do it early and get it over with.

I am hoping you are loving the little ones a lot. They are so adorable!
