Dreaming! Do You Dream of a Genie?

HS I Dream of Jean 429×515

Welcome to a “first” sneak peek of an upcoming Hanna Stamps set, “I Dream of Hanna”!  Okay … I’m only showing 2 of the 7 images for the entire set, but after all, it’s a “peek” !  hahaha

I created this card for the featured stamper challenge, FS95, at SCS.  “Flowergal36” is this week’s featured stamper, and I truly enjoyed viewing her gallery.  Well, her card here seemed to be just the ticket for one of the smaller images in the new Hanna sets, so I simply had to choose which smaller stamp to use!  Voila!  What “Genie” fan wouldn’t adore having the “bottle”!   This bottle is embossed with gold EP, then colored to coordinate with the Basic Grey papers.  Plus, the sentiment was easily stamped with Distress Emboss, and also embossed with gold EP.  The top part of the printed paper layers was also dry embossed with a C’Bug folder through my Wizard.  Next, add on a few layers of Nestabilities Ovals & Scalloped Ovals, and the rest is basically, easy history!   Tex’s Tip:  Embossing a line-art stamp creates an excellent coloring image.  Colors are less likely to combine during quick movement through the coloring process.
