“T.Y.”! i.e. “Thank You!”

SC TY Thank you 500×481 holiday

“T.Y.”  Do you “get it”?    I hope that you do.    It’s my abbreviation for “Thank You!”  I wanted to do something a little different with my JustRite monogram stamps, but I also wanted to make something appropriate for my card stash.   I think I’ll use a few of these after the holidays, due to the festive feel of the papers I’ve used for this version.  That’s okay … I always need ‘TY’s’ for a few local friends and couples, don’t you?   I’m thinking that many of us can think of soon-to-come reasons to have a wee stash prepared.

Today’s creation is much easier to create than you might think at first glance.  The only stamping is in the monogram stamper itself!  Choose the initials, the border, and the color of ink … and stamp!  The rest is merely making your layers all fit together.  For me, I enjoy that part, and actually can make a couple of trips from my stamping table to be sure I’m happy with my findings.  Today’s card is a 4″ square, so the base card is simply cut at 4″ x 8″ and scored in the middle of the length.

SALE!  Before you check out the card recipe, I want to tell you about the sale going on right now at The Stamp Castle!  (That’s where I get all of my JustRite stamps.)  The Stamp Castle has announced a delightful sale of 25% off everything in the store!  You read it right!  25% off everything!  You don’t even need a code for this sale.  Simply check out ‘The Stamp Castle’ and shop!  You will easily see the sale on the goodies.   Happy Shopping, and thanks a bunch for stopping by today!
