‘Tis the Season to be jolly! Just saying it brings the song to mind! I love the happy lilt of the music. It just seemed perfect to use this stamp as the main image for today’s card. Today’s blogger challenge at the Rubbernecker blog is to create a card or project that is ‘not’ the customary 4.25″ X 5.5″ size AND include snowflakes. Thus, I’ve chosen 3.25″ X 6.5″. It’s still a good size with room to write inside, and allows plenty of design space. Cut your cardstock 6.5″ X 6.5″ and score in half. Quick as a wink!
The color challenge this week at SCS (CC196) gave me my inspiration for these unusual colors for a Christmas card. The challenge colors are Baja Breeze, Red Riding Hood, Taken with Teal, and Whisper White. I’ve added some dazzle to the cuttlebugged snowflakes with embossing ink & ‘Heat & Stick’ powder. After heating the powder, it forms a liquid glue, ready to quickly apply glitter for a great, permanent “stick”.
