Okay …. some of us surely know some “old putters” out there, so here’s a Father’s Day card just for them!  I’ve computer-generated the main sentiment, just because I felt like this guy deserved a ‘special’ reference.  😉      RN fathersday oldputtr sent 500×232

Yesterday, my sweet friend, Joan, had challenged us to create Father’s Day cards for Wacky Wednesday #15.  I was just too under-the-weather to come out to the studio for stampin’.  So, here’s my first Father’s Day card of the season.  In reality, this one won’t work for Mr. Tex, since he isn’t big on golfing.  But I do know a couple of others that this fits perfectly!  hahaha   I’ve inked up just the first word of the “Fore Text” stamp with Distress Embossing Ink to stamp the background.  Those tree edges were created with my trusty Outdoor Master from the Kittie Kits.  Just stamp & repeat stamp the various leaves images and ta-dah!  Leaves, trees, bushes … whatever you need!    Okay … now while your ‘putter’ goes out on the course, here’s a card just for him!

Thanks for stopping by today!  We spent last night dodging funnels and serious high winds here in this area.  We’re hoping for much calmer stuff on Thursday, although storms remain in the forecast.  I’m thinking of calmer, West Coast beaches!  😉

Hey, girlie!!! Sorry you haven’t been feeling well, Bev….why didn’t you call Joan’s private duty nursing service for assistance???? I would have filled my bag with Diet Coke, chocolate, M&M’s, stamping magazines, and headed North!!! This image just cracks me up!!! The belly over the belt and the tatoo are a sad reality…..gotta love those plaid pants, too….giggle!!!

Great coloring on this guy!! Though, I am pretty sure this guy has very little resemblance to Ron! His glasses are different! *wink* *snort*
