Coffee or Tea?? * Inchies for SC235
Well, for many, it’s definitely “Coffee”. And I’ll admit that once upon a time, coffee was for me as well. Now? I’m tea … 100% … iced with lemon … or maybe without. On c-c-c-cold days, I love hot tea … but Texas tends to be near/at 100 degrees currently, so let’s not even discuss “hot”. 😉
This week’s sketch challenge at SCS, SC235 is a simple square design that includes 9 circled images or 9 square images. Well, I’ve long been a circles fan, so of course, that was my choice. Another very cool thing about this week’s sketch is that one of the primary samples was designed by my talented & sweet friend, Joan! She probably doesn’t even know it yet, since she is still on vacation with her honey-hubby. But I know she’ll be tickled to see it when she returns!! Yaaay, Ms. Joan!
My card includes layered circles on a 5.5″ square card. The background paper is from 7 Gypsies, and the inchies images are layered to coordinate with the background paper. Just a hint of shimmer on a few images is provided by a clear Spica glitter pen, plus some MS Glitter atop the foamy-looking Liquid applique on the frothy cappuchino image.
Thanks ever so much for stopping by today! Here’s to a fabulous holiday weekend to come for those of us here in the U.S.A.! Happy 4th of July coming up!!!
