Bits of CHA & Good Things!

Published by at 11:05 pm under CHA Orlando 2009

Hey there, friends!  I’ve edited a few more photos to share …. but believe me, I have barely scratched the surface of my pics so far, and haven’t even downloaded today’s pics from the camera.  (Yes … I’m the one who is always snapping pictures & chatting.  It’s a dirty job (not), but someone is bound to do it!)  So let’s get started … … …

Basic Grey sign 350×267For many of us who enjoy papercrafting, Basic Grey papers is a favorite.  Personally, I appreciate the fact that they provide their paper collections in both 12″X12″ as well as in 6″X6″ paper pads.  Thanks, Basic Grey!

Here’s a quick peek at a shelf of the projects displayed in the Basic Grey booth.  The wintery project features the upcoming “Eskimo Kisses” collection, while the front project features “Nook & Cranny”.

Cosmo sign 475×445In reality, CHA is the wholesale marketing show where your favorite craft & hobby stores come to see new products and place their orders for the new goodies you’ll be seeing pretty soon in their stores, both online and ‘brick & mortar’.  The summer showing is always smaller in size, but it’s still quite large, and some of our favorite companies bring their products to display and sell to store owners.  Aisles are numbered high above the crowds, and some of the vendors display prominent signage high above to help guide you in their direction.  Here’s another look:

Bev DebbieSeyer 450×345Okay … time to share pics of new friends that I previously knew only through the wonders of cyberspace.  😉

This is Debbie Seyer, a.k.a. momto3cs.  She is one of the  design team members of Spellbinders.

Bev Maren 450×408The Spellbinders booth was a great place to find friends, new & old.   It was a delightful surprise to meet Maren Benedict while hanging out at the Spellbinders area.  This talented young woman is one of the newly announced Go-to Gals for PaperCrafts magazine, and she is a sweetheart as well!

We have an early rise in a few quick hours … Mickey Mouse is calling my name, and I’ve promised a special little guy that I’ll say “Hello” for him.  Tomorrow is the day!  Never fear, I’ve got lots more CHA pics to share in the coming days.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a fabulous Friday, everyone!
