The Peace of the Nativity * SSS35

RN Nativity Peace tppr 575×150

The nativity scene always brings me to a peaceful feeling deep inside.   This sweet nativity stamp captures the appeal of the most wonderful Gift.  Look at those faces … ful of joy and also peace!

This card is my contribution to this week’s SSS35 sketch challenge from The Sweet Stop.  The sketch is a tall card ‘with a spin”.  The ‘spin’?   We’ve been challenged to use the sketch and create it as a pocket card!  Now in my opinion, this is the time of year when we’ve all be thinking about Christmas gifts & cards … and also those tags needed to attach to our gifts.  Thus, I created a tag shaped insert for my inside pocket.

Here’s a closer peek at the nativity scene .. just click the image for a better view:

Tex’s Tip:  The sentiment is shown in full on the inside of the card, so I used a marker to simply ink the “Peace” for the ribbon tag on the front.  This is such an easy way to get more use from your favorite sentiments!
