So Sad You’re Sick!!

Wooooooooohooooooooooo!!

Welcome to the last day of this decade!  That’s right!  Tomorrow brings in the new year, 2010!    My plans for the eve of 2010 have been ‘set’ for a few weeks … (It’s basically an annual event.)  … Playing board games and/or dominoes with treasured local friends, eating probable no-no snacks of sweets and/or far too much salt, while stopping at midnight CST to toast a Happy New Year!

Okay … enough of the traditional & personal stuff … and on to the stampin’ stuff!      😉

My last card of 2009 will likely be my ‘first’ card of 2010.   I’ve been deep in the middle of moving computer files & software, rearranging until it’s way past being ‘fun’, and am literally in a state of computer ‘mess’ at the time of this post.   ( Uhhhmmmmm …. Why didn’t this wait until traditional “Spring Cleaning”?!?!  )

While working the October, 2009 stamp show in Albuquerque, NM, I noticed the many & adorable ‘Get Well’ themed stamps on the Rubbernecker racks.  How had I ‘not’ noticed them before?  Rn wtr bttl gt wll ins sc261 475×385  Who knows … certainly not I!   At once, I knew that I would adore the stamps in this series, and now I’m happy to show some of them to you!

Directly to the ‘left’ is the inside view.   The first view (at the top of this post) is the actual ‘front view’ .  My card was formatted to follow along with the SCS Sketch Challenge and the SCS Color Challenge this week.  I’m glad I took a peek at the color challenge, as I might never have experimented with Basic Gray, Really Rust, and Barely Banana together.  Definitely an unexpected arrangement of color, don’t you think?

Basically, the entire card is pretty clean & simple … It uses basic supplies plus a wee bit of doodling with a marker, and minimal cut-work to pop up the water bottle image.   You’re certainly welcome to explore the sketch!    In the meantime, I’m hoping that 2010 will be a banner year for each of you stopping by for a visit today!   Thank you for making my blog a ‘stop along your way’ today, and possibly for the past year of 2009.   I hope to continue to bring inspiration to you in the coming new decade of 2010!     Happy New Year!!
