Believe in Your Dreams!
Happy “Mothers’ Day”, whether you ‘aspire’ to become a mother, whether you ‘are’ a mother, or whether you are a biological mother, with a beautiful child in the family of ‘another’. I take this very seriously … as I was adopted and taken home at less than 36-hours of age. I have always been “thankful” to my birth mother (‘Mother Lily’) for allowing me to live, even though she felt that she could not keep me with her at the time.
>>>Fast forward to the present>>> I now have two adopted Grand-blessings, along with two “natural” Grand-blessings! How amazing is that?!?! God is so Good!
Now, on to to day’s inspiration for you. My first version of this card is intentionally clean & simple. I know … not my usual genre … but I do try it out from time to time. Thanks for your tolerance! Because it was easy to create/assemble, I feel that I’m quite likely to use this again, if only for my personal ‘card stash’. This one seems like a perfect choice for duplication and/or morphing into a card ‘stash’ item, just waiting for the appropriate “greeting” sentiment along the bottom edge! (((sneaky, eh???)))
I hope you enjoy! Happy Mothers’ Day!

How pretty! Love it! I too keep a “stash” that just needs a sentiment for those last minute cards.
I love the simplicity of this card, Bev. Especially love the gingham ribbon with the weeds.
Beautiful, Bev! Thanks for sharing this fabulous creation and your personal story! Beautiful and touching! Happy Mothers Day! Hugs!
