Dear Mr. Ford ….

RN model T topper

Whoa!    Please accept my apology for letting so many days pass between blog posts / sharings!     I will admit, that Spring has tempted me in many ways … and I no longer spend as much time here in “cyberville”.   Hopefully, many of you can relate to that.  As we approach the oppressive 90-degree temps and beyond, I’ll likely be here on a more part-time basis .. hit or miss.     😉

As my readers may already know, Clean & Simple (CAS) is not my favorite, nor my best genre.  Now please do not misunderstand … I truly adore Clean & Simple.   My long-time favorite CAS stamper is Jessica Witty(yes .. I am the typical, biased Mom) … 😉

But at the same time, this style seems to be quite elusive for me.   My personal style seems to fall somewhere in the honest middle between CAS and Whoa!   Can any of you relate?   LOL   It’s okay  … it’s been a long time for me to confess, so I honestly do understand!   This card was created for the CAS67 challenge at SCS … looking for clean & simple, yet shabby chic creations.   As soon as I read the challenge, this Rubbernecker Model T image came to mind … and thus, I was committed!

The background paper is from the Tim Holtz Distressable line, with added edge sponging of Distress Antique Linen inks.   I’ve also added the same inking within the die-cut Model T image layer.  The sentiment was simply stamped onto the Tim Holtz dsp … edges were easily roughened/distressed with my Tim Holtz Tonic Scissors.   Clean & Simple?  Yep!    This one can easily be mailed in a standard (USA) envie, with no additional postal costs.   (Now of course, this is based on the USPS requirements as of today’s date!)

Here’s to a fabboo week’s end for each of you!
