Happy Father’s Day!! * There’s No One Like You!
Welcome everyone!
Here in the U.S.A. we’re celebrating today as “Father’s Day”. So, “Happy Father’s Day!” to many, many of you out there! I’ll admit that since my darlin’ Daddy and treasured Father-in-Law have gone to Heaven, I’ve paid less attention to Father’s Day. However, I was lucky enough to be online when this week’s SCS featured stamper challenge, FS175, was posted. Oh my word … it’s my darlin’ gf, “Iris” … a.k.a. Pam Hooten! (See my blog post below … Piris was so recently here with Joy … and I’m still missing the treasured girl-stuff!) Well, one of Piris’s cards was for her hubby for Father’s Day … so what else could I do??? I had to follow suit! LOL
As you can see, I’ve kept some of her elements such as color, vintage, car theme .. but had to shift/flip her sketch, added a grunge initial for DH, and shabbied up some otherwise white “map” paper for a background. DH owned an old T-bird in his earlier “pre-Tex” days … so hopefully, he will see the similarities. If not … oh well … I tried, eh?
This card is 4.25″ X 5.5″.

You are workin some gorgeous creations out of your little studio, gf…..this Father’s Day card is sooo AWESOME and perfect for a man named Ron!!! Such a beautiful car image and I love all the guy details you added!!! I am finally kidless and will head to the craft room is a little while….sure is quite around here…LOL!!!
