Hi there! Are you “amiss” (shy or remiss) in sharing this sentiment?!
No, I’m not attempting to make anyone feel the least bit of guilt in any way. I’m just sending a reminder to myself as well as to others, that sometimes, we “need” to share our innermost feelings. My beloved great-aunt talked with me about this several years ago. She was a very wise woman …. and I miss her on so many levels. Hence, I try to remember her wisdom as I move forward along life’s path. Sharing our feelings of “love” was one of those most powerful lessons. In certain circumstances, I think that it’s okay if we take a ‘whimsical’ approach, depending on the intended recipient. No naming names, here. 🙂
This little card carries that message … I {heart} You … in a whimsical ‘Minnie-Mouse’ kind of way. The red & white polka dotted paper has been begging me to “let it out” from my paper stash! At last, I’ve let it shine … ( or so I hope! ). I own zero Disney stamps, so this has been “in waiting” for a while (even though I do adore DisneyWorld & DisneyLand.) Now, I’m actually wondering why on earth I only purchased ONE sheet of this red & white paper!?! Drats! Lesson learned, for whatever it’s worth. 😉
“Lola” has visited us once again, to share the message of LOVE , as you can see. She sports a paper-pieced Minnie Mouse dotted dress, and carried her paper-piecing happiness onto her paper-pieced sentiment.
