Sweets for my Sweet! * OCLDT48

Published by at 10:43 pm under Cuttlebug Fun,Our Craft Lounge,Tex's Tips

Hey there, friends!    I’m here to share my card for the Our Craft Lounge OCLDT48 challenge.  We are all challenged to use two ribbons on our creations for this one … and the rest is up to you!   Check out the link above and come along to play!

Top-fold (tent) cards are one of my fav styles.  Tex’s Tip:  When setting one on display for savoring, this style has a much better chance of “standing up” without falling forward.  Other times, I select side- or top-folds depending upon the direction of my planned ribbon/embellishment placement.

The strawberry soda was stamped, colored, and cut with Nestabilities.  While still in the oval die, I masked the image & airbrushed briefly.  Last came the frothy top of OCL’s Sparkly Fluff.  Just use a thin application of liquid adhesive, and sprinkle on the Sparkly Fluff of your choice!   For the cuttlebugged background, I used my “Emboss upon Embossing” technique, as shown in this video.  Sparkly Fluff was added to one of the oval layers, while OCL’s Crafty Sparkles glitter adorns the dry pressure embossed layer.

I hope you like it!    Thanks so much for your visit.  I’ll try to post again in a few days.  It’s a little tricky here at the moment, but I’ll jump into computerville whenever I can.  Hope you’l hang in there with me for sure!   Hope to visit with you again soon.
