Monday’s ‘Focus on Florals’ – Outlines Challenge Day!
How did it get to be “Monday” again so quickly?! For me it seems that both Spring and Summer just “zip past” faster than I can comprehend. But one of the best things about Monday is that it brings a new challenge to us from Outlines Rubber Stamps! This month was oh so easy (in my opinion) …. Our challenge is “Focus on Florals”. Make me smile in a moment’s notice!
First of all … “choosing” from the wonderful selection of floral images offered by Outlines is .. uhmmmm … a true, thought-worthy process. Florals are my all-time favorites here, so yes …. I’ll admit it … I am “floral biased”. Please, oh please do not hold this against me … the history goes way back into time, and I won’t hold you to that knowledge. 😉
I’ve chosen Wavy Posy images for my focus today: Wavy Posy Lg. + Wavy Posy Medium + Wavy Posy Sm. … followed with Posy Leaf 1 and Posy Greeting Centers. These are oh so easy to work with! I’ve stamped these atop pale, subtle designer paper, but because the intended design just seemed so pale, I added my own coloring with Copics. No need to ‘restamp’, do-over … just added “life” via color. Posy Leaf 1 Leaves are also stamped atop dsp.
What could be easier than using a few floral layers, leaves, cutting out …. and … tah-dahhhh! Build a card around it!
