Keeping It Krafty!

Let’s start off this shiny new week with a “Keeping It Krafty” challenge from Outlines Rubber Stamps!  Just like it sounds, use kraft cardstock as a main ingredient in your creation.   Check out the Outlines Blog to find out how you can play along toward winning a $25 certificate from Outlines!

 

I took this challenge quite literally, and used only kraft plus white cardstocks, along with kraft-colored printed papers.    The sentiment is Tiny Celebrate Your Day, and the blossom was created with Wavy Posy Lg., Wavy Posy Med., and Wavy Posy Sm. stamps.  The posy images were heat embossed in black to add a nice contrast.

Embellishments include a flourish grungeboard, painted with crackle paint, then inked with Distress Ink that for a two-tone look.  The pearl dots were simply created with a black Viva Decor Pearl Pen.  (My opinion?  Gotta love those pearl pens!)
