Dare to Get Dirty, 2011~

Published by at 8:59 pm under Rubbernecker,SCS Challenges

Hey there, Stampy Friends!   It’s crazy hot here in Texas right now, but I know of a very ‘cool’ place for some stampin’ fun this week!   We’re having the annual week full of fun challenges for the SCS Fan Club members, lovingly known as the ‘Dare to Get Dirty Challenges’.  Several DTGD challenges are posted each day, and all uploads completed by midnight, Monday, August 8 will be eligible for some sweet prizes from a variety of sponsors.

What?   You aren’t a Fan Club member?   That’s easy to remedy.    Here’s a link to get you started if you are interested in joining the Fan Club.  If you’re already a Fan  Club member and haven’t spotted these challenges yet, here you go!

My card below is for the DTGD11TexasGrammy challenge, and I would love to have you join in the fun!  Wait until you see the extra samples there made by my darling friends  Kittie747 and Understandblue …. I owe them big time Thanks!

I’ve used a couple of the new 2011 sets from Rubbernecker today, “Butterflies are Free set“, “Garden Shrub set“, and the “Just Because” sentiment.  The butterfly has been heat embossed to make the black really stand out against the Copic coloring.   The shrub set image was stamped, then stamped off to provide the illusion of depth.

I hope you’re ready to go find your favorite paper & inks and “get stampin‘” with us!   We would love to have you join in the fun!

I’ll see you again very soon.   Thanks big bunches for your visit today!
