Zebra Florals!
Hi everyone!
This one came about solely due to this week’s SCS Sketch Challenge, SC357. This is an easy, classic sketch, and I knew pretty quickly what I wanted to do.
Not at all how we typically utilize “background” stamps, huh? I stamped this one 4 times with SU Craft Basic Black ink, and clear embossed each quarter card piece. Then, I put all through the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die, to end up with 2 of each of the images on that Sizzix die. Using a paper-piercing tool, I punched a hole into the approximate ‘center’ of each die cut, then bound all together from smallest to largest die cut with a brad. Atop the brad, it is finished with a rhinestone.
The same Rubbernecker Zebra Print Background was stamped in SU Craft Basic Black ink, heat embossed with clear embossing powder, to be used as a background layer atop the Real Red card base. May Arts ribbon provides the horizontal line.
The sentiment was stamped with Ranger Archival Tuxedo Black ink, die cut with a Spellbinders Scalloped Oval die, and all adhered to finish this card. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ….. I might even make a few more due to the ease of this one. I enjoy heat embossing, given an efficient set-up, and this one is easy to change sentiments for versatility!
Thanks everyone for your visit!

What a great “wild” card, Bev! I love animal prints anyway and this one paired with the red is knock dead gorgeous.
A pretty wild card for such a sweet lady :). Your card is lovely as always. Hugs
