Snappy Days! * TTC12
Here we are again with this week’s Touch Twin Challenge, TTC12!
Our challenge this week is to use the following colors: GY48, B171, RP9, R16. If you don’t have these Touch Twin Markers, please feel welcome to use similar colors. No worries, now! I’ll have a photo of my markers posted below my project for color guidance. 😉
Our Shinhan ARTisan’s sponsor this month is Market Street Stamps, and today I’m using two of the images from the ‘Under the Sea’ clear set.
First I created a beach, ocean, & sky by sponging Distress Inks directly to Neenah Solar Classic White cardstock. The tall grass was stamped with Distress Ink – Peeled Paint. After adhering the white layer to the Marina Mist layer, I used a piercing tool to pierce the stitching holes. This made it much easier to add the stitching with a craft needle. ‘Seagulls’ were drawn in the sky with the WG9 Touch Twin Markers. Tex’s Tip: I used my finger to smudge on Glossy Accents as the adhesive for my clean sand. Droplets of the Glossy Accents give fun dimension to the crabs’ eyes.
Of course, we would certainly love to have you join in our color challenge, for your chance to win some Shinhan Touch Twin Markers! We do ask that you use a brand new creation for our challenge, and add a direct link to your project using the Mr. Linky you’ll find on our Touch Twin Challenge Blog post.
