‘Clearly Fun’ Blog Hoppin’ with Inky Antics!

Hello everyone!   Welcome to Inky’s “Clearly Fun” Blog Hop!   If you’ve been following this hop, then you’ve come from the talented Debbie Fisher’s blog.   If not, be sure to check the Inky Antics Blog for the complete list of blogs participating so you don’t miss out on any of the Clearly Fun Hop!    😉

I chose to make the card itself with Inky’s Clear Cardstock along with three darling stamps drawn by artist Nancye Williams:  ‘Best Stamper’, ‘Jewel Background’ (0362F), and ‘Miss Him’, which you can find on this page.    Don’t let your eyes fool you!  The card doesn’t take up the full width of my photo, even though it might “clearly” seem to do so.

<< Here’s the inside of the card and some special tips regarding projects using clear cardstock.   (Just click the image for a larger view.)

~Tex’s Tip – Stamping on clear cardstock: Clear cardstock is slippery!  Use inks designed for non-porous surfaces, such as StazOn.  Stamp straight down onto the cardstock without sliding the stamp, then be sure to lift the stamp straight up for a clean image.

~Tex’s Tip – Positioning on a clear card: Be sure to center the interior sentiment, image, etc. directly behind the image on the front.  You don’t want the inside elements to be visible from the front.

~*Special offer! Our April Inky website special is a FREE pack of Clear Cardstock with orders of $40 or more, and the details are on this page.

*Blog Hop Notes! The blog hop starts today and ends on Sunday, April 22nd at midnight Central time.  Please visit each DT members’ blog to view their projects and leave a comment for each designer.  As you know, the more you comment, the better your chances are to win. (Limit one comment per blog, please). Two people’s names will be drawn at random to receive a surprise Inky prize pack.  The winners’ names will be announced on the Inky Antics blog next Monday, so remember to stop back and see if you’ve won.   (I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for you!)

Now, your next stop will be the Inky Antics blog!

Happy Trails!
