Gosh … time is running past so quickly! The ShinHan ARTisans have already got a new challenge for you, TTC25! It’s a very cool challenge too … color on some fabric & include it on a square card. We’d love for you to play along with us, stampers & colorers!
Confession: When I first read the “fabric” element of the challenge, the only thing I could think of was a fabric ‘ribbon’. So in true Tex form … I needed some think-time. Thankfully, I entered a store and walked by the fabric department and remembered the fabric challenge. I decided to look for a pale neutral. Bam! Found it! Brought just 1/4 yard home, and began to ponder stamps. (Don’t you love it when things really get on a roll with your ideas?!)
Now where oh where is that can of spray adhesive? Found that too! Used my trusty craft iron to smooth out a bit of the folded fabric, and cut a rectangle large enough to accommodate my onesie4baby stamp. Stepped outside for a quick spray of adhesive onto white cardstock, then carefully laid the pressed fabric atop the tacky cardstock. Stamped the image and I’m ready to color! Sounds like a lot … but easy-peasy for sure.
The flowers & leaves were just as easy. I simply laid the brush tip of my Touch Twin marker RP86 against the fabric 5 times to create the floral “circle”. For the leaves, I just turned the tip around the opposite direction and laid it against the fabric a couple of times for pairs of leaves. (Just click the photo for a larger view.)
Colored my fabric? Check!
Kept the design simple so the onesie is the center of attention … just like babies.
Hope you find some inspiration here today! C’ya!
