Coooool Me Off!
Time to cooool off ….
Hey! We’re up in the 100’s here this week, so you do what you’ve gotta do to get a little cool down … with some frosty ice cream of course!
It’s a very good thing that there are zero calories in this particular concoction. Since I only allow myself occasional sugary foods, this would
be extra tempting if that raspberry-colored iciness happened to be the real deal in front of me! (Still withholding judgement on whether this is “lucky for me” or not.) This is another sample of the stamping fun possible with the ‘scream4icecream‘ stamps and the ‘Ice Cream Dies’ sets #’s 1 and 2 from The Stamps of Life. The bitty tag uses a little sentiment from the stamp set along with the ‘minitags2cut‘ dies, while the wavy border was made with the ‘Wavy Die Set‘.
The ice cream scoop was stamped on Scenic Route printed paper, the die cut before being rolled through my Xyron followed by a covering of ‘Sprinkles!‘ glitter. The cone shape was dry embossed with part of a Sizzix embossing folder. Tex’s Tip: An easy alternative for the criss-cross scoring would be my trusty Simply Scored Scoring Tool. Cardstocks for this frosty project include Stampin’ Up!’s Rich Razzleberry + Ivory Naturals.
Oh dear … I am now fighting a true ice cream urge here. Time to ‘step away’ from the photos for me! Y’all have a sweet day out there, wherever you are! Thanks big scoops for having visited today!
