Are you ready for a fun new challenge?
How about playing along in my DTGD13TexasGrammy challenge over at Splitcoaststampers?! Please consider this to be your very own, personal invitation! Just in case you need this, please feel free to use it:
If you haven’t already been joining in the Dare to Get Dirty (<<<click link) fun over at Splitcoaststampers, you’ll find lots of new DTGD challenges being posted each morning. We’re even offering a big batch of stampy prizes too from many of your favorite companies.
Naturally, I’d love for you to play along in my challenge, DTGD13TexasGrammy, (<<<Yep … click it!) so please feel welcome to check it out right here, and be sure to add your creation to the galleries as you play along!
Here’s a sample for my challenge. I was looking for a bit of an elegant way to share “Happy Birthday”. The card’s edges were created with a Sizzix die … one that I’ll likely keep for ever & ever, IYKWIM. I love that it cuts both the front and back edges of the card while the cardstock is folded … a very welcome little trick!
Now, when you read my challenge link, you’ll notice that I included a little area for Bonus Points. If I were giving real points to my own sample, it would qualify! Happily, a lot of players are going for the BP!
This Spring & Summer I’ve had the privilege of traveling to a few stamp/scrap shows across the USA, demonstrating for Inky Antics and meeting so many wonderful fans of Inky Antics. When I was planning my sample for this challenge, I knew I wanted to show the more ‘elegant’ side of the delightful Inky Antics stamps. This sentiment is from the Brushed Calligraphy #4 set, inked up with Color Box Silver pigment ink, then embossed with Stampin’ Up!’s Silver Emboss Powder.
So now it’s your turn to jump in and join the fun & challenges of Dare to Get Dirty week! We’re hoping to see you there with your stampin’ gear in action!
Hope to see you back here very soon, as well! Happy Stampin’!
