Clippies Meet Brocade Background Paper!

Clippies Brocade all7vert 578×640

I haven’t made new bookmark clippies in a few months, and I’m still happily playing with the new Brocade Background double-sided papers.    Hence the paring of these elements!  Add a little bit of Cuttlebugging and a smattering of ribbons here & there, and it’s an easy process!  These are easy little gifts, but be sure to make some for yourself too!  *wink*

My chipboard shapes and Brocade Background papers were easily cut with the Cuttlebug, by ProvoCraft.   I really do enjoy using the CBug dies and embossing folders.  I no longer spend gas and time, searching for Cuttlebug products locally.

I stay right here and order my 12×12 chipboard supply as well as Cuttlebug dies and embossing folders fClippies 3lgfrnt crt350rom eclectic Paperie!   If you will check yesterday’s post in the ‘Bits & Pieces’ category, you’ll even find a coupon code from Daisy & Joy at eclectic Paperie, valid for a few days this week only!  Thank you Daisy!

These clips also include a variety of ribbon bits and buttons from Stampin’ Up!, my sewing supplies, and also from a big bag of Foof-a-lah buttons I received as a gift.  I’ve stitched some of the buttons with SU Linen thread, and others with sewing thread from my years-old sewing supplies.  (I rarely toss ‘potential’ crafting stuff …. often to my DH’s dismay … sigh…)

Once the elements are cut, assembly is fun & quick with a liquid adhesive and a mini hot glue gun.  E6000 Glue will also hold the clips to chipboard, but I prefer the fast drying time of my mini hot glue so I can keep on moving!

Project Elements:  SU Brocade Background 12×12 paper, SU Linen Thread, sewing threads, SU Buttons & Foof-a-lah buttons, Cuttlebug, Cuttlebug dies, large paper clips from the office stores, mini hot glue gun, liquid adhesive such as SU Liquid Glue.
