Something’s Fishy!! ++ Announcements!
Yes … something is very, very fishy! My friends Jeanne Streiff (Inky Paws * a.k.a. Jeanne S) and Sherry Cheever (Walkin’ On the Bad Side * a.k.a. BadSherry) love to host a weekly challenge called the JBWW. This week the challenge is to use stamps that are fish, critters that live with fish, whatever .. just fishy stuff! Well … I have poured over my countless stamps …. I’ve already sold Fishy Friends, & had to keep looking. I found one of my fav cards that I made for Sell-A-Bration last year .. and hadn’t posted it here. Sorry girls … it’s not brand spankin’ new, but still swishy fishy! *wink*

We’re welcoming both Jeanne & Sherry to the team at Hanna Stamps! I am tickled to bits to welcome these talented ladies to our team! Not only are they talented, but their humor and fun perspectives are totally delightful! Jeanne lives farther down into Texas .. so I’ve been lucky enough to share a wee bit of time with her … and even Sherry too, during her Fall visit to Texas! Woooohooooooooooooo!
The top of this shaker was cut with a Giga Marvy scallop punch. Images inside are watercolored on watercolor paper, I used previously available acetate sheets for the shaker cover, but it’s easy to find transparencies through the office stores. If you’re shopping in person rather than online … take a little peek inside the boxes to select the clearest type that you can find. It’s not a big deal .. but you might notice some slight differences in clarity. If you haven’t tried a shaker card in a while .. give it a try! Recipients love them .. no matter what the occasion. And they’re not just for kids either! *grin*

Thanks for the fix. The title was funny – thank goodness I wasn’t the first to “report to the mater’. I don’t know a darn thing about computers, etc. This is really cute; must go back to read the recipe again. I love everything you do and share. Wudda you doing up so late? Its nearing 11:30 p.m. here in muggy, rainy Hawaii. 😀
Thanks for the cute cards. I love the fish stamp sets, can’t part with them yet. I, too have made shaker cards with fishy friends as well as a card using blue gel in a small plastic bag as the ‘water’. Of course it’s not mailable but was a cute idea for a childs birthday party. TFS.
