If I Had a Rose … …
Doesn’t this sentiment give you pause for sweet thoughts? I can think of so many special people who deserve to receive a card made with this stamp! The sentiment is one single stamp , while the rose image beneath it is a set of 3 stamps used together. All are from Inky Antics! I think this card is also a “first” for me. I don’t believe that I have ever intentionally chosen this particular blue ink and “kept” it as my choice on a card! I’m not even cringing, feeling the need to snatch this picture and make color changes. Woooohoooo!
My goal was to keep the sentiment & image as the first attraction to the card. Additional elements are few, but include the little metal buckle within the tied ribbon, and the wonderful tactile & visual texture of Stampin’ Up!’s textured cardstock as the primary base of the card. In all, it’s a very quick & simple card … but I hope that it reveals the subtle elegance I was hoping to bring to the front. I hope you enjoy!

Oh, Bev, this is beautiful. And bordering blue (or boring blue as a couple of friends always called it) is my least favorite color from SU.
