You Make My Heart ‘Spring’!
Here’s to a blessed Sunday to all of you! If you’re a stampin’ ‘challenge chaser’, then you know that today is the featured stamper challenge at SCS. Today’s featured stamper is ‘NancyRuth‘, and I couldn’t resist playing along. Check out her gallery and join in the fun if you have some stampin’ time today!
I’ve been wanting to use this fun robot set, and finally felt like I found the right pairing of papers, colors, and inspiration to bring it out! The cute robot and his robot dog are both in the set, along with plenty more darling images. Since I have little “guys” that are just now getting into robots & other cool “boy” things, this image and his dog seem to remind me of a little guy that’s dear to my heart, along with my “grandpuppy”, Cooper. In reality, our ‘Cooper’ isn’t this tall, as he is actually a mini-dachshound. But still, that’s what I’m thinking of when I stamp this fun little robot-dog.
I’ve added some machine stitching to the outer edges, mixing straight with zig-zag stitches. The screw brads are layered atop folded oval punched papers, and I airbrushed both the image and sentiment pieces. I think the photo only captures a bit of this on the sentiment. I have so many options as to who might be the recipient, that I just don’t dare make a statement on that here. Otherwise … I could be in big trouble!! eeeeek!
Here’s to a blessed Sunday for all of you! Thanks ever so much for stopping by! Hope to see you again very soon!
