Happy Birthday Hug – for the guys!

I’m starting off the new week with a new idea for my card stash … courtesy of this week’s featured stamper challenge (FS151) over at SplitcoastStampers!  ‘Smilyn Stef’ is this week’s stamper … Congratulations, Stef!  Why am I excited?  Because it’s quick … collect a few masculine papers, and it comes together easily!  Minimal ribbon is required, but of course, no bow.         😉

All you’ll need are one ink pad, one designer paper, two cardstock colors (or just one!), one strip of coordinating ribbon (nothing to tie!), and you decide what shape to use for your sentiments.  GK Wrm Wndrfl masc bday ins 304×400  You could certainly use quick cutting of rectangles or squares to eliminate punching if you prefer.   For the interior of the card, I’ve deleted a layer but kept the look of the front layout.

I hope you might find this inspiring for your own card stash needs!  Thanks a bunch for stopping by to comment and visit for a few moments today!

One Comment and One Question… LOL

The card is AWESOME, “guy” cards KILL ME!!!!

The question is WHAT do you use to prop up your cards? I have seen another gal use something similar hers is black plastic, I’m assuming it’s an antique of some kind but what is the original intent and WHAT IS IT??? LOL

Sorry it’s MY Monday and I am pretty spacey today and this question just hit me!!! 🙂

Masculine and CAS cards are two hard styles for me to make and you were able to combine them both so well in this gorgeous card. Thanks, Bev. Have a happy new year!
