Think Spring! Easter Gardening

Think Spring, everyone!   It’s “here” on the calendar, and hopefully coming to your area if you haven’t seen it just yet!

This little bunny just couldn’t wait any longer.  He’s already out there in his garden, planning, planting, sowing and even reaping some sweet goodies!  Between you & me, he really deserves some kudos for his early determination and hard work!

For the garden scene, I sponged in a blue sky with some puffy clouds, then used torn paper to create the garden rows.  Paper edges were distressed just a bit for dimension, and the rows were adhered only on the bottom edges, leaving a bit available for “tucking in” those Easter eggs and hatching chicks.  As you can see, bunny is ready to plant his favorite carrots now that his Easter crops are complete.  A large Springtime background was stamped on the card base before adding the rest of the layers.  The tag was stamped on a Nestabilities, and Stickles added some glam to the ‘i’s and exclamation point.  If only all gardens could be weed-free and full of pretties!

I hope you enjoy!  Happy Spring, everyone, and a blessed week before Easter for all of you!
