Challenge By Color! Outlines #7
*****
Happy Valentines Day, everyone!
Today the Outlines Design Team was challenged to use Black, Red and White for our projects. Even though the colors seem just right for a Valentine, I opted for more of an ‘anytime’ card.

Believe it or not, this blossom is from just one stamp, Spotted Blossom H-368. The three leaves are Wavy Leaf B-380. All images were stamped with black pigment ink, then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I used Copic R29 to color the little dots on one layer of the blossom. A single black brad holds the layers of the blossom, and dimenional glue dots secure the blossom & leaves to the card. Because there are so many designs working within the blossom, I felt the card could be completely simple. I think it works! How about you?
Now since it’s Monday, you’ll also find lots more Black, Red, & White inspiration at the blogs of my Outlines Design Team colleagues. I’m pretty sure you’ll find something to get your creativity jump-started today from these talented ladies: Jeanne Streiff, Jenny Gropp, Lisa Silver, Robin Kirkpatrick, Sandy Hulsart, & Vicki Garrett.
Here’s to a delightful week for each of you! Thanks so much for sharing moments of your time here today!
