Butterfly, Butterfly!

Published by at 4:00 am under Outlines Rubber Stamps

Welcome to Monday and a fresh & shiny new week, everyone!

I’m here to share another creation featuring Outlines Rubber Stamps.  The design team was challenged to use butterflies this week, so I’m sharing the fluttery Sparkle Butterfly (H-801).  The butterfly was stamped with silver pigment ink atop both white cardstock and white vellum.   Next both images were heat embossed with clear embossing powder before trimming to ‘set them free’!

Now for the wonderful sparkle that can only be found in the Swarovski Clear Crystals.  I used sizes 5, 9, and 12 on the wings.  I didn’t lose a single crystal either … thanks to my fav Picksey Pick-ups.  Honestly … crystals & rhinestones just don’t do the Tiddly Winks jump when the pick-ups are being used!  Crystals are securely adhered to the vellum butterfly with Ranger Glossy Accents.

Once the butterfly images were set aside to dry, I stamped the Ellason Background (J-986) with navy pigment ink onto a silver cardstock diecut, then heat embossed with clear e.p.  I’ve added a little closeup photo so you can see the heat embossing on the background a little better.  Once the silver was layered onto the navy card base, the completed butterfly was adhered with Glossy Accents.    I hope you like it!

The rest of the Outlines design team are all sharing their butterfly-inspired creations, so you’re sure to find a lot more inspiration to whet your creative appetites!   Here they are:  Jeanne Streiff, Jenny Gropp, Lisa Silver, Robin KirkpatrickSandy Hulsart, & Vicki Garrett

Thanks so much for your visit today!
